The Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens memorialize the life and works of the great sculptor in a serene and beautiful setting. On display are the artist’s early twentieth century masterpieces in stone, plaster and bronze. The home itself was designed by Polasek when he retired to Winter Park in 1950. The house and gardens are not particularly lavish – instead, they emulate the uncomplicated aesthetic that Polasek practiced in his sculpture and paint.

Semoran Skateway is a great place to be a kid again. Family owned since 1978, it harkens back to times when hanging at the roller rink was the apex of cool. It's still a blast, especially when the DJs spinning '80s and '90s music call out games, races and speed skates. There's also a video arcade and a mini-rink and lessons for beginners. The rink hosts special events such as all-night skates, Christian music nights and adult skates, when you can pour on the speed.
